2013 Porsche Cayman

It’s not surprising to see Porsche on the top of our lists with the Cayman.  If you were to think of some words to describe the Cayman there would be plenty but the one that comes to mind the most is near-perfect handling. Its combination of balance, agility and performance is really that good. It’s not the most powerful or luxury car on the road but it makes a statement. Don’t be fooled though, its lighter weight gives it more boost then you would think.  Its graceful curves are slick and the interior is up to Porsche standards. The seats are comfortable and driver friendly. The only complaint on this baby is that a few of the controls might be too small for larger hands but that is pretty minor compared to what you do get in return. Its base engine is a 2.9 liter, flat 6 cylinder with 19/27mpg and 265hp.

If you want something to throw the top down and cruise down the highway, sun on your skin and ocean breeze in your hair then the Porsche Boxster is for you. Ranking number two on our list the Boxster is one of the few luxury sports car available in a soft drop. Once again, if you are looking for performance then you can’t beat Porsche in this category as well.  It has a slick, mean styling reminiscent of the 911 and its wider wheel track makes it perform even better on winding roads. The seats are comfortable and the interior is luxurious. It is also slightly larger than previous versions. The only complaints were the limited rearward visibility and minimal cargo space, which is pretty standard for its class. Despite that you can’t go wrong the Boxster. It has a base engine of a 2.7 liter, flat 6 cylinder engine with 265hp and 20/30mpg.

We could easily put the Porsche Carrera in this spot as well but we will give you a break from Porsche in case you want some other options. Next on our list is the Nissan GT-R.  The GT-R brings super car, high speed power but it is pricier.  It blew us away with its combination of speed and stability. It does have a twin turbocharged V6 engine after all. The cabin is sporty and driver friendly; allowing you to easily spend numerous hours on the road in comfort. That being said you will have to stop fairly often as its fuel economy is pretty limited, but that is not why you by this bad boy. It also comes with a nice selection of standard features such as backup camera, navigation and dual-zone climate control. The biggest complaint is that it isn’t as nimble as some competitors and pricier then the models above. The engine is a twin turbocharged 3.8 liter, V6 with 16/23mpg and an amazing 545hp.

Of course if you don’t want to buy a new car you may try to buy a used car at dealers such as http://www.enterprisecarsales.com/usedcars
